Give your story ideas a good start.
Coaching through story development uses a proven and duplicatable blueprint to build a strong foundation for your story.

Don’t start writing . . . quite yet.
Build a story you’ll believe in before you spend months drafting it.
You don’t need just an outline.
You need confidence the story you’re about to write works.
Maybe you’ve filled notebooks with ideas or research.
Or you started writing, but feel stuck.
Have you’ve outlined . . . and re-outlined . . . and still aren’t convinced everything fits together?
You know there’s something special in your story, but aren’t sure it’s the best it can be.
Do you feel too close to it to objectively answer questions like:
- Does this conflict actually carry enough weight?
- Are my characters making believable choices?
- Is every scene moving the story forward?
- What am I missing that I can’t see?
- Will readers care about my story?
When you’re living with your story, objectivity can feel difficult and sometimes impossible.
That’s where thoughtful coaching changes everything.

Imagine knowing . . .
. . . your protagonist’s journey goes through a meaningful change.
. . . every major plot point grows naturally from cause and effect.
. . . your supporting characters and plot strengthen the story.
. . . you’ve built a strong enough foundation to draft with confidence.
That’s the work we’ll do together through story development coaching.

Introducing coaching for story development
This six-deadline coaching program follows Jennie Nash’s Blueprint for a Novel process while creating plenty of space for authentic real talk and exploration.
Rather than handing you answers, I’ll help you discover the shape of your story.
Together we’ll examine every major element of your novel, ask questions to dig deeper, uncover blind spots, and strengthen your story before you invest months writing pages.
Great stories aren’t discovered by accident, they’re carved out with intension, curiosity, and problem solving.
Is Story Development for you?
This coaching is ideal if you:
- Have an idea but don’t know how to shape it.
- Started writing but feel stuck.
- Want stronger characters and emotional depth.
- Need objective feedback before drafting further.
- Prefer collaboration over rigid formulas.
- Want to understand why your story works—not simply be told what to do.

Why Work With Me?
I’m a fiction book coach who helps writers think more deeply about their stories.
Pointing out problems isn’t my style.
Using literary analysis, critical thinking, and compassionate feedback, I help writers connect the pieces they already have and build them into stories that feel authentic, emotionally satisfying, and immersive.
The goal isn’t simply for you to complete a blueprint workbook. It’s to become the kind of storyteller you want, who can confidently build compelling novels again and again.

The cost for the Story Development Coaching package is $1599 and includes:
- Over six deadlines of one-on-one coaching, we’ll objectively evaluate foundational aspects of your story, starting wherever you are in the process.
- Using thoughtful questions, using story analysis, and a genuine curiosity we’ll begin to unearth the story you envision.
- You’ll gain a greater understanding of your characters, plot, and themes, as well as a clear path for bringing your vision to life.
- On each call, we’ll address any questions you have about my individualized feedback so you’ll have actionable steps to move confidently forward.
I will help you uncover what’s working and identify what’s missing through objective story analysis, thoughtful questions, and collaborative coaching. The end goal is to create a plan for your story, but also to build a well-founded confidence in both your story and your ability to tell it well. Are you ready to get started?
