What is a manuscript evaluation?
A manuscript evaluation gives you a high-level look at character development, plot, pacing, dialogue, genre, and other elements that are incorporated in well-told stories. Do these questions sound familiar?

This coaching service works at the highest level to help you pinpoint issues for revision, to tighten up your manuscript, and to get it ready for agents and readers.

The investment in a Manuscript Evaluation package is $1600 for manuscripts up to 80,000 words and includes:
- an initial kickoff call to hear what your concerns are, but also to talk through any cryptic feedback you’ve received
- a complete read of your finished manuscript (this service does not include inline comments or editing)
- a detailed editorial letter clearly outlining:
- a prioritized and detailed list of action steps to make improvements
- suggestions on possible solutions
- the strengths of your story and writing
- a 90-minute, one-on-one call with me to go over any questions on feedback, brainstorm, and make sure you feel confident moving forward in revision so your manuscript shines
Manuscript evaluations usually take 30–45 days to complete from the start date. Availability can be limited, so fill out this form, then I’ll reach out to schedule a call.
